Get Outside & Get Moving

Your Metro Parks offer a wide variety of fitness & recreation opportunities. Throughout our 19 Metro Parks you’ll find activities like rock climbing, biking, backpacking, cross-country skiing and archery. Kayaking, canoeing and fishing are available at a few Metro Parks and are a great way to see nature in a relaxing way. We’ve even got bridle trails, a mountain bike trail, two golf courses and 3 disc courses for those who dare! You’ll also find trails that are great for runners, obstacle courses and fitness courses. Embrace the outdoors and take your workout to a Metro Park.

Ditch the Treadmill
& Hit The Trails

Walk your way to a healthy heart in your Metro Parks. Checkout the Greenway trails if you’re looking for a long and invigorating bike ride or training for a 5k.

Try one of our two obstacle courses for an outlet for some excitement and for something new. Obstacle racing provides a great combination of cardiovascular and strength training. And it’s free!

Scale Our Outdoor Climbing Wall

Scioto Audubon is home to the largest free outdoor climbing wall in the country, 35 feet high. Bring your ropes or register for a class and we’ll provide the equipment.
